The managerial experience of Ms. Kokkinides has carried the title of Executive Vice President at Centerlight Health Care, the Chief Operating Officer at Touchstone Health, and as the Corporate Vice President for Care and Disease Management at AmeriChoice. Rick Shinto, M.D has an extensive managerial and clinical experience in the healthcare field. Earlier in his career, he has managed the MMM Healthcare Plan as its CEO, the Aveta, Inc., MedPartners, Medical Pathways Management Company, and Cal Optima Health Plan. A bold new corporate move by Dr. Shinto involved reforming InnovaCare’s payment system. Working with the Health and Human Services model, InnovaCare Health will now base their costs on quality service and not quantity.
Dr. Shinto is highly respected within the medical care industry. He was elected as a member of the Board of Directors at the preeminent America Health Insurance Plans. Dr. Shinto also sits on other popular medical boards like the former CAPG which is now the America’s Physician Groups (APG) formerly CAPG. Dr. Shinto also sits on the Board of Director panel of the Financial Solvency Standards Group.
