The Houston real estate scene is constantly changing and growing. In the past, individuals wouldn’t even consider moving to Houston. Now, that’s not the case. Individuals are dying to make the switch there. That’s because Houston features the Highland Village. This shopping center includes all kinds of clothing stores like Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware and Anthropologie. Besides clothing stores, the Highland Village is also home to a number of amazing restaurants.

For those that don’t know, this shopping center is owned by Haidar Barbouti. He bought this property back in 1991. Since then, he has taken on the role of property manager. Thanks to his new leadership, a lot of changes went into effect. In 1994, this shopping center became the home of the first Starbucks in Houston. He also worked to attract a lot of national stores to the center. Barbouti transformed the Highland Village into a huge success.

Houston’s residents really do rely on this shopping center as a source of entertainment. For those times when residents are bored, they can simply participate in one of the free events going on. There is plenty to do there. Plus, the Highland Village is always bringing in new stores. This way residents will never get tired of what’s being offered. Barbouti understands that there is always room for improvement at this shopping center.

Houston has never been known for its real estate. Instead, residents associated the city with great food and a winning basketball team. However, Houston is now prime real estate. Individuals want to live here. These people will spare any amount of money to call Houston home. While Barbouti may not have realized this back in 1991, he really did change the way people view Houston. Thanks to the Highland Village and, this city is not slowing down anytime soon.
